Posted by Enoteca Fine Wine & Beer Posted on Nov - 21 - 2012

Dear Enotecans,

Reminders: Wednesday is a great Whiskey tasting, check out the details here.

Open Mondays!  Come in Monday-Friday after 4pm or Saturday after 12pm for a fantastic Wine Flight (click for details) great beer on tap (Abyss 2011 anyone?) and fantastic cocktails.

Discover Treveri

This fall trade show season we tasted a bunch of Bubbly made in Washington that was really impressive.  We invited Barry from Treveri to come pour the bubbles at Enoteca so we could share them with you.  This will be fun, and a great way to sample some sparkling wine and take some home to be ready for the holidays!

Thursday, November 29th, at 7pm, we’re holding a Washington Champagne Tasting with Barry from Treveri.

Only $10 per person to taste 5 different bubbly wines, click here to get your tickets online.

Not only did we like these delicious and sometimes unique sparkling wines, they’re winning awards!

  • 90+ point scores from Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast
  • Featured on the Northwest Menu dinner at the James Beard Foundation in Spring 2012
  • Treveri Cellars Sparkling Pinot Gris voted Best Northwest Sparkling Wine by Wine Press Northwest in 2011
  • Double Gold Winner at the Seattle Wine Awards
  • Featured in Tasting Room Magazine
  • Treveri Cellars was honored to be served at the US State Department Holiday Receptions in 2011.

“I first encountered the Treveri Brut in a blind tasting of vintage Champagnes… Amazingly, it showed very well, better than several of the pricier bottles in the flight.”

– Paul Gregutt
The Seattle Times and Wine Enthusiast

We at Enoteca feel exactly the same way as Paul G about Treveri.  Fantastic bubbles, incredibly affordable pricing.

The name “Treveri” comes from the historic name of the city of Trier, Germany, one of the former seats of the Roman Empire.

Treveri Cellars is a family-owned sparkling wine house that produces some of the finest handcrafted sparkling wines in the United States.

Treveri opened its doors on November 23, 2010 with a mission to put Washington sparkling wine on the map. Since its opening, Treveri wine has been served at White House State Department receptions and the James Beard Foundation in New York.

Producing a wide array of sparkling wines, including non-traditional varieties such as Riesling and Mueller-Thurgau, Treveri largely focuses on 100% varietal sparkling wines, and is also launching a reserve tier of sparkling wine.
