Thursday, August 16th is the Pike Brewery Beer Tasting, at 5pm and 7pm. Laura Stoudt from Pike will be on hand to pour beer and share fun stories. Come see and taste what is new and exciting from this northwest favorite! This will be a fun and exciting event! Only $10 to attend, which includes generous samples of beer, some catered bites from Dominoes (hey why not?) and the entertaining presentation and education given by Ms. Stoudt.
Note: Enoteca strives to bring you the best experience in wine and beer. Due to the popularity of our events we have had to change our policy on event tickets. Now you buy tickets online, just like concert tickets. They’re not yours until they’re paid for, and when we fill up, tickets are no longer available. Unfortunately we can no longer provide refunds FOR EVENTS. You will be emailed a receipt for your payment of the ticket, and you can print this for verification of the ticket.
We’re working on a beer line up, at this moment we’re planning on pouring six or seven beers, so it should be a fun time.
I remember when I was first starting to explore craft beers and came upon Pike’s Kiltlifter Scotch Ale, what a fantastic beer. Started in 1989 in the Pike Place Market area of Seattle, this brewery has been a pioneer in the craft beer movement. Started by Charles Finkel, who also started Merchant du Vin, one of the most complete import beer portfolios anywhere, we’re going to be partaking in the fruit of the labors of one of the giants of craft beer.
If you have some time on your hands, you can read the overly complete history of Pike Brewing here.
