This is a resend – the first one had links that said “Laughing Dog” on them, but they linked to the Sam Adams tasting. This email corrects that mistake. Get a jump on the beer tasting, we’re tapping Sam Adams Octoberfest today!
It’s the weekend and Liquor Chef Jake has been working on his Manhattan recipe, it’s coming out amazing. Stop by this weekend for the classic Manhattan, a perfect Manhattan, or our own take using brown gin, the Tomhattan.
Back in stock: Quick note about a couple popular beers that are back in stock. Black Butte 24, and Rogue Voodoo Bacon Maple. Both very limited, but we have a couple cases of each back in stock. Last chance!
Now presenting… Thursday, September 27th is the Sam Adams Beer Tasting, at 5pm and 7pm.
Troy Lobdell from Boston Beer Company will be on hand to pour some really exciting new beer coming from Boston, and he is authorized to judge North Idaho’s only two entries into the national Stein Hoisting Competition.
Bring a growler or two or three, we’ll be tapping two very special kegs with special growler fill pricing for the event, and you’ll want to fill up for sure! I don’t want to give away too much info, but one is on the lighter side and one is quite dark… Growler glass or stainless is available to purchase at the event if you don’t bring your own.
Click through to buy your tickets. Purchase must be made online, and tickets are yours only when we receive payment information. No refunds or exchanges.
Special Beers Being Poured
For this tasting I asked Troy to bring in some of Sam Adams newest and greatest beers to date. We’re going to be pouring at least 4 beers we can virtually guarantee you haven’t had, unless you’re on the tasting panel in Boston. The styles are quite varied, so come prepared to have a new and interesting beer experience. Some are from the Barrel Room Collection, which sounds pretty fancy to me.

The official competition is taking place at Enoteca’s Sam Adams Beer Tasting event. There will be one competition for the 5pm event, and one competition for the 7pm event. The official judge will submit the best times from the winners of each event to the national competition. You must attend the event to participate in the competition.
