Meet Don P. from Dry Fly at Enoteca tonight – drop in sampling event

Posted by Tom Gable Posted on Dec - 10 - 2012

Dear Enotecans,

This evening, Monday, December 10th from 6-8pm, Don P. from Dry Fly will be at Enoteca Drinkery & Refuge to sample Dry Fly spirits.  We are carrying all of his available items and you can order drinks made from Dry Fly any time.  Some of our featured cocktails are even designed around the Dry Fly spirits!  This is a drop in tasting event from 6-8pm.  Just show up, if you’re 21 or older!  Our full bar is open too, with Ryan Roberge tending.  After sampling, have him whip you up something special.

Reminder – Chimay Day:  This Thursday, December 13th we’re holding Chimay Day.  Read more about it here and get your tickets to ensure you have a seat.

We invite you to discover distilled difference.

It begins with a river

Just a few years ago, we were knee-deep in the Gallatin River, just outside the lie on a scenic bend. It was still early and the sun was rising slowly behind the alders. It occurred to us how privileged we are to live, work, and fish in one of the most amazing places on Earth. We felt so fortunate that we wanted to find some way to share the natural beauty and purity of the great Northwest. What better way than by producing fly fishing-inspired distilled spirits, made from only the purest locally grown ingredients? Heck, even the name sort of presented itself.

True craft distilling

Dry Fly Distilling is true craft distillery, located in beautiful Spokane, Washington. We produce award-winning vodka, gin, whiskies, and now bourbon using only locally grown grains and botanicals. Our stills, manufactured in Goppingen, Germany, are custom designed Christian Carl pot stills with multiple rectification columns. Both have 450-liter capacities and we expect an annual output of no more than 12 to 15 thousand cases of 12/750 mL bottles. Dry Fly is owned and operated by Don Poffenroth and Kent Fleischmann, both former marketing executives.

Farm to bottle

Dry fly embraces the farm to bottle approach, producing every drop of liquor it sells from only raw materials grown locally by sustainable farms. We do not purchase bulk alcohol, nor do we think that is true craft distilling.
