nicolas-fuillette-palmsdorPick up some nice Champagne!

We have a thorough selection of true French Champagne, and great bubbly from Spain, Italy and the U.S. too, even as close as Washington State.  Pick up a bottle or three to kick off the new year.  Over 50 high quality selections to choose from.

Go out for some delicious drinks and conversation

At Enoteca Drinkery & Refuge we’re here for a nice relaxing time.  The atmosphere is smoke-free, low key, and perfect for a nice drink and conversation.  Come on down to start off your New Years Eve celebration, whether you’re going on to a busy downtown party later or turning in early, we can help you start it out right.

Champagne Flights

In the Drinkery & Refuge we’re going to be relaxing with our usual line of amazing Craft Beer on tap, red and white wine by the glass and flight, cocktails, and scotch & bourbon menu. But since it’s New Year, we’re celebrating with Champagne! Come try a flight of 3 different and unique Champagnes, served on a platter with wine information.

Luxurious Champagne Cocktails

This is where we get to be creative! Check out these bubbly-based cocktails, just a quick sampling of what’s coming.

Black Velvet:

The classic recipe for a Black Velvet is to half fill the glass with the stout or porter and tilt to the side, whilst pouring the champagne in gently, trying to create as little foaming as possible.  The Black Velvet is nearly 150 years old. It was ‘invented’ at the Brook’s Club, London in 1861 and was served as the nation mourned the death of Prince Albert, Queen Victoria’s Prince Consort.

poinsettia-drinkWe’re using a Stout or Porter on tap, right now it’s Sierra Nevada Narwahl.

This one is super pretty!  Champagne, cranberry juice, orange liquor and twist of lime. We loved the mix of fruity cranberry and the complex orange flavors – very tasty.

The Ghost:

Champagne and Midori (melon liqueur). This one is very simple and utterly delicious. The fruitiness of the melon is a great foil to the sharpness of the sparkling wine.

We also have the rest of the bar at your disposal and many a champagne or sweet sparkling you may have table side in an ice bucket with glasses.

The French 75:

Gin, champagne, lemon, sugar!
