Friday Wine Flight: Get Ready for the Holidays!

red-wineBotromagno Nero di Troia
(Puglia, Italy)

The uva or nero di Troia grape is one of Puglia’s oldest and most noble varieties. Used in decades past as a blending grape, it has recently become a star on its own as a monovarietal wine, exhibiting aromas and flavours of previously unsuspected richness and complexity.

Our nero di Troia is grown in the Minervino Murge area, in a naturally low-yield 25-year-old vineyard trained to spurred cordon. It yields a wine that consistently stands out for its elegance and personality; it boasts dense, fine-grained tannins and ease of pairing with food. A wine for wine-lovers.

red-wineGuenoc Victorian Claret
(North Coast, California)
The Guenoc North Coast Victorian Claret is a complex blend of our award winning wines. Dark ruby in color, the wine has a wonderful fruity nose bringing on black cherry, plum, and blueberry aromas. Rich and soft on the palate, the hints of vanilla and nutmeg, from aging in 50% American and French Oak, add to the complexity and the long smooth finish. The wine pairs well with any meat dish or just on its own.

red-wineNota Bene Ciel du Cheval Syrah
(Red Mountain, Washington)

Liqueur-like black cherry aroma shows a lightly roasted quality. Sweet and fat with kirsch and raspberry fruit, with just enough acidity to maintain its balance.

97% Syrah, 3% Grenache
