(Washington)

New Price!  We were able to source this favorite again, this time with an even better price!

Wine maker Angie Shaltry lives and makes wine in Eagle, Idaho, and she sources fruit from all over the place.  This bottle is all from Washington State fruit, with more than one appellation included.  Angie apprenticed to Helen Turley the superstar wine maker from California.  We’re proud to have Angie here in Idaho and proud to share this amazing bottle of wine with you.  The label is fantastic too, unfortunately I don’t have a picture to share, so come in and see it for yourself!  Instead I included a picture of the wine maker.

50% Cabernet Franc, 25% Syrah, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon

red-wineFoundry Fire Red Blend
(Walla Walla, Washington)

Flavors and aromas of rich red fruit with hints of strawberry, cracked pepper and chalky tannins.  Subtle dark undertones present themselves mid-palette. This bright, young wine is fully enjoyable now yet will gain more nuance and complexity with age.

54% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Malbec and 9% Cabernet Franc

red-wineNota Bene Ciel du Cheval Syrah
(Red Mountain, Washington)

Liqueur-like black cherry aroma shows a lightly roasted quality. Sweet and fat with kirsch and raspberry fruit, with just enough acidity to maintain its balance.

97% Syrah, 3% Grenache
