Chimay Day! Taste Vintage Chimay as far back as 2003, PLUS Chimay on Tap!

Posted by John Eckhart Posted on Dec - 04 - 2012

Dear Enotecans,

Before talking about Chimay Day, make sure you check out the Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne tasting this Wednesday.  We’ve put together a tasting that is an incredible value, rare opportunity to taste some very good bubbles and prepare for the holiday season.  You must get tickets though, so don’t hesitate.  Seriously, if you know anyone who loves Champagne, you should let them know about this event.

What is Chimay Day?

We’re holding a Chimay Day Beer Tasting Event Thursday December 13th!  This beer brand is made by Trappist Monks who take a vow of silence, chastity, and poverty, but they make great beer.  Might be a good trade off, I suppose each person needs to decide that for themselves.

What are we tasting?

We’ve been aging Chimay Grande Reserve Magnums.  At this event we’re popping the corks!

  • Chimay Grande Reserve 2009
  • Chimay Grande Reserve 2005
  • Chimay Grande Reserve 2003
  • Chimay Tripel on tap!  It’s the newest recipe from Chimay, originally developed in 1963.
  • The entire current vintage Chimay line-up.
  • Go home with a collectable full size Chimay Chalice, just like in the picture above.

Tickets are strictly limited, the cost for this event is $25 per person.  You must buy the tickets online, and when they’re gone, they’re gone.

Click here to buy tickets – only $25 per person for this unique beer tasting event.

Click through to buy your tickets. Purchase must be made online, and tickets are yours only when we receive payment information. No refunds or exchanges.

Too Many Emails?  Our list is segmented to allow you to get just the emails you want.  Each segment typically gets one per week, two tops, but if you’re getting all the segments it can add up.  Click here to learn more about the list options, and click “Too Many Emails?” in the head of this message to change your settings.
