Red WineNovelty Hill Royal Slope Red
(Columbia Valley, Washington)

This is one of those incredible delicious “sleeper” wines that nobody expects.  Its pedigree is unmatched, it’s flavor fantastic, but when you look at the label, none of that comes through.  Get ready for a great, unexpected experience.

Generous layers of dark berry, ripe black cherry and plum combine with a concentrated mouth feel to make a lasting impression.

Novelty Hill’s family-owned estate vineyard, Stillwater Creek, supplies approximately two-thirds of the grapes for this delicious blend.  First planted in 2000, the vineyard has quickly distinguished itself as one of the most exciting Columbia Valley sites of the last decade. The remainder of the blend is from two equally distinguished vineyards:  Alder Ridge, Horse Heaven Hills and Lewis Vineyard, Yakima Valley.

50% Merlot; 27% Syrah, 7% Cabernet Franc; 7% Petit Verdot; 5% Sangiovese; 2% Mourvèdre; 2% Cabernet Sauvignon
