Two Mountain Winery Wine Tasting

Start the weekend out right at Enoteca – Fine Wine & Beer!

This Friday from 4-7 Enoteca will be hosting Matthew Rawn, owner and winemaker of Two Mountain Winery of Zillah, Washington as he shares a selection of Two Mountain wines. We will be tasting Saturday from 12-7 as well, which is a great time to taste wine to beat the rush. Taste a flight (2 oz. each of 4 wines, 1 oz. of port) for $10 per flight, and follow up for $5 per 5 oz. glass (excluding port).

Two Mountain Winery

Two Mountain Winery and vineyard is a family-owned operation that produces approachable, handcrafted wines that are worth saving for that special occasion, but are accessibly priced for a casual dinner with family and friends. Brothers Matthew and Patrick Rawn own and operate the winery and estate vineyard, overseeing every aspect of the winemaking process from the grapes to the glass.

Long Shadows Vintners
Long Shadows Vintners
It’s about time for the 2nd Annual Enoteca Long Shadows Vintners tasting event!

This is the one tasting event of the year that you don’t want to miss!

To taste all of these wines by buying the bottles, it would cost you $375 plus tax. This is an incredible opportunity to taste them all for only $35.

Washington State has a secret weapon in the wine making world. Allen Shoup. Allen is the visionary behind the Long Shadows project, which brings in the best wine makers in the world to make great Washignton State wines. We love these wines so much we want to share them with as many people as possible.

Saturday June 14th, at 6:00 p.m., at Enoteca in Post Falls, we will be sharing all seven Long Shadows Vintners wines. Here is the list: Poet’s Leap Riesling, Chester-Kidder, Pirouette, Sequel Syrah, Saggi, Pedestal Merlot, and of course the Feather Cabernet Sauvignon. 2 oz. of each wine will be poured. This is a unique opportunity as these wines are extremely limited in nature and this is the only time of year we can get them all together in one place. As with all of our tasting events, the ticket price is simply to cover the cost of pouring the wine.

The tasting starts at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 14th.
Tickets to attend are $35 per seat, paid in advance.
Only 20 seats are available to this event.

Through the Grapevine
An Illustrated Guide to Wine Grapes
by Candace Ann Frasher

Earlier this year we had the wonderful experience of meeting Candace Frasher, the author of an excellent beginners style book about wine. This handsome paperback is illustrated with artistic watercolors and speaks about the primary grapes used for making wine. Included are pronounciations, illustrations, food pairing ideas, tasting note space, and grape “personalities” that make for a fun introduction to wine.

The copies at Enoteca are signed by the author, Candace, who is a fun and caring person who just wants to spread the joy of wine. These make an excellent gift for someone new to enjoying fine wine, perhaps even your mother for Mother’s Day.

Price: $12.99 each.

Club members can have tickets simply added to their Bin, and anyone can pick one up by coming into Enoteca in Post Falls, calling us at 208-457-9885 or sending us email at service@corkjoy.com .
