TimberRock Trio Release Wine Tasting Event
Start your weekend out right with Fine Wine & Beer! This Friday from 4-8 Enoteca will be hosting Kevin Rogers, winemaker from TimberRock as he shares his great wines, including the new blend, Trio. We will be pouring these wines Saturday from 12-8 as well, which is usually a less crowded time to taste wine. Taste a flight (3 oz. of each wine, plus 1 oz. of Icewine) for $10 per flight, and follow up for $5 per glass (5 oz. pour), except the Icewine which is $5 per 3 oz. glass.
This Friday, October 12th, from 4-8 pm is TimberRock’s Trio Release Party at Entoeca! We will be tasting the complete TimberRock lineup with winemaker Dr. Kevin Rogers.
TimberRock is Post Falls’ native winery making quality hand-crafted wines from Washington State fruit. Wine Club Members Dr. Kevin and Michelle Rogers (Bin #100) are the winemakers and Kevin moonlights as a Veterinarian at Kootenai Animal Hospital. The picture to the right is Dr. Rogers forklifting some grapes into the Euroselect de-stemming machine at a recent “Crush” party. Some Enoteca staff and Club Members partook, and we look forward to whatever wine is made from the Syrah grapes crushed that day.
TimberRock Chenin Blanc Icewine 2005 (Washington) - Ice wine harvest is done entirely by hand, commences once the temperature drops below 14 degrees F and the grapes have naturally frozen on the vines. As the frozen grapes are pressed, the natural water portion of the juice remains within the grape skins in the form of ice crystals, and a tiny but precious ration of highly concentrated juice is expressed. Exotic aromas of honeysuckle, apricot and pear. Flavors of peach and creme brule. A decedent treat to compliment a fine meal.
Retail: $39.99 / Club Member: $35.99 (10% off)
TimberRock “Old Vines” Chardonnay 2005 (Washington) - Barrel fermented and barrel aged. Ripe tropical honeysuckle and peach on the nose give way to pears and apples with a subtle mineral edge.
Retail: $18.99 / Club Member: $17.09 (10% off)
TimberRock Trio Red Blend 2005 (Phinney Hill Vineyard, Washington) - This food friendly blend should pair fantastic with a juicy filet or a gourmet burger. The distinctive pepper note on the finish should pair well with garlic dishes with a red sauce. Fruity aroma’s of plum, spice and exotic black licorice. Bold dark fruit flavors with a distinctive peppery finish. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot 25% Syrah.
Retail: $19.99 / Club Member: $17.99 (10% off)
TimberRock Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 (Washington) - With a classic varietal profile, this richly structured and integrated wine shows blackberry, cassis, herbal and leather aromas with flavors of plum, bittersweet chocolate and black cherry on an earthy, spicy finish.
Retail: $27.99 / Club Member: $25.19 (10% off)

Rombauer Tasting Event October 19th and 20th
Rombauer. To those who enjoy Chardonnay this name evokes senses of a well balanced lightly toasted oaked white wine with creaminess, tropical fruits, a hint of vanilla. It’s a Chardonnay that people are used to jumping on when it’s available, because supplies dry up quickly.
As Premier Red Club members will soon find out, Rombauer also makes an amazing Zinfandel. Other Rombauer fans know well that Rombauer also makes an incredible Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and reserve “Diamond” Cabernet Sauvignon.
Enoteca will be tasting out the Rombauer lineup with Darin Roberson of Vehrs on October 19th, from 4-8. We will also be pouring these wines on the less crowded Saturday the 20th from 12-5. Hold the date so you can come taste and enjoy.
Ayinger German Beer Tasting Event - Oktober 20th
Saturday, October 20th, at 6 p.m. Enoteca will be hosting an Ayinger German beer tasting event! Kevin Olsonberg will be on hand to answer questions and facilitate a great tasting experience.
The event is nearly full, but you can still get on the Waiting List. There may be cancellations and we will call people on the Waiting List first.
Brauerei Aying has a long-standing reputation for excellence in beer and hospitality. Although Ayinger Brewery was founded in a picturesque village 25 kilometers from Munich in 1878, the site of the Ayinger Gasthaus Brewery Hotel has been one of Bavaria’s most famous restaurants for more than 500 years.
Ayinger beers are characterized by their delicious balanced maltiness (not found in beers of the major Munich breweries). Unlike the mass-market brewers, Ayinger uses a significant portion of locally-grown barley and wheat to produce their beers.
In a land of wonderful breweries, Ayinger is considered a benchmark of excellence. For the past four years Ayinger has placed first in every category entered in the World Beer Championships.
Tickets are $10 per person, register in advance. Club members can have the ticket simply added to their Bin, and anyone can order tickets by coming into Enoteca in Post Falls, calling us at 208-457-9885 or sending us some email: service@corkjoy.com!
